2019 MEN'S SOCCER ACADEMIC ALL-MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE RELEASE

CLEVELAND, Ohio -Â The University of Akron men's soccer squad earned nine selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2019 Men's Soccer Academic All-MAC teams on Dec. 13.

In all, 56 student-athletes from six conference institutions were honored including; senior Christian Lue Young (Plantation, Fla.), redshirt juniors Diogo Pacheco (Lisbon, Portugal) and Tor Saunders (Seattle, Wash.), junior Daniel Strachan (Lakewood, Ohio), redshirt sophomore Declan Watters (Dublin, Ireland) and sophomores Pol Hernandez (Teia, Spain), Marco Milanese (Isernia, Italy), Carlo Ritaccio (Westbury, N.Y.) and Sam Tojaga (Erie, Pa.).

To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Teams, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport.
