2019 MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE MEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

AKRON, Ohio - On the strength of a 1-0 victory over West Virginia on Nov. 7, the University of Akron men's soccer team earned its 20th regular season Mid-American Conference title and the right to host the 2019 MAC Championship, Nov. 15-17, at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Top-seeded Akron will host fourth-seeded Bowling Green on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. The Falcons posted a 2-1 win over Northern Illinois in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 12. In the other semifinal, No. 2 seed Western Michigan will battle No. 6 West Virginia, who earned a 1-0 victory at No. 3 SIU Edwardsville, at 3 p.m. The advancing teams from the semifinal contests will vie for the league's automatic NCAA bid in the title match on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.

With Akron having secured the right to host the MAC Men's Soccer Championship, season ticket holders can renew their seats for the MAC Tournament (two semifinal matches and championship match) online at www.GoZips.com/tickets, or by calling or texting the C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at 1-888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting office at InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Package prices for the two possible games (MAC Semifinal, MAC Final) are $30/seat for reserved seats, and $20 for general admission. Free for all MAC students with a valid school ID.

Single-game prices are $15/seat for reserved seats, and $10 for general admission.

For season ticket holders to guarantee their same seats, they can purchase the MAC Championship package by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Otherwise, tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, Nov. 15, beginning at 2 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium.
