SEATTLE, Wash. – The University of Akron redshirt junior Mackenzie Andrews (Toowoomba, Australia) ran a school-record time of 4:40.75 in the women's mile at the Husky Classic on Saturday, Feb. 10.
Andrew's effort broke her own school mark of 4:42.42 set on Jan. 27 at the Penn State National. She finished 15th among the 70 runners across seven flights of competitors.
Akron returns to action hosting the Zips Invitational on Friday, Feb. 16, at the Stile Athletics Field House.
