Akron to Host Watch Parties For Zips' Showdown vs. Michigan State

AKRON, Ohio – Akron Athletics will host a pair of watch parties for the Zips' men's soccer NCAA Tournament showdown versus Michigan State on Friday, Dec. 7, at James A. Rhodes Arena as well as at J. Dublin's Pour House (1954 Buchholzer Blvd., Akron, Ohio, 44310).
The watch party will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the match starting at 8 p.m. The contest is being broadcast on ESPNU and will be displayed on the video board inside James A. Rhodes Arena.
Plenty of televisions will be available at J. Dublin's Pour House to catch all the action where there will be food and drink specials for fans in attendance.
Admission to the watch party and parking are free and open to all fans at James A. Rhodes Arena. Concessions and a bar will be available with cash or credit. An inflatable bounce house will be set up inside the arena for kids. The bounce house will close at halftime. While seating in the bleachers and chair backs is available, fans may bring a chair if they so choose.
The second-ranked Zips (14-6-2) will face fourth-rated Michigan State (14-4-4) in a semifinal tilt of the College Cup on Friday in Santa Barbara, Calif.
