2018 COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS ALL-AMERICA TEAM RELEASE
AKRON, Ohio – University of Akron men's soccer sophomore David Egbo (Enugu, Nigeria) garnered another accolade for his impressive 2018 resume as College Soccer News tabbed him a Third-Team All-America selection as part of its 2018 All-America Teams release on Monday, Dec. 17.
Egbo earlier captured Third-Team All-America honors from the United Soccer Coaches as well Best XI Third-Team laurels from TopDrawerSoccer.com.
A First-Team All-Mid-American Conference performer for the initial time in 2018, Egbo, started 21 of the 23 games in which he appeared for Akron this season, owning team-high marks in goals (13), points (31), shots (61), shots on goal (23) and game-winners (6), while rating third in assists (5).
