USMNT U-20 INTERNATIONAL CAMP RELEASE
CHICAGO, Ill. - University of Akron men's soccer freshman Jonathan Lewis (Plantation, Fla.) was among 20 players named by United States Under-20 Men's National Team head coach Tab Ramos to the 20-player roster for the team's international camp, set to take place from Dec. 13-20, in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Lewis recently completed a freshman campaign in which he was named the Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year and garnered second-team All-MAC accolades after scoring a pair of goals and leading Akron in assists (12), scoring (16) and shots on goal (21), while ranking third on the team in shots (44). During the camp, the U-20 squad will play a pair of friendlies versus the U-20 Costa Rica team at their national training center on Dec. 17 and 19.
