Akron Women's Soccer garners a league-best 15 Academic All-MAC selections

2014 ACADEMIC ALL-MAC WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Akron women's soccer garnered a conference-best 15 selections when the Mid-American Conference unveiled its 2014 Women's Soccer Academic All-MAC team on Monday.
In all, 123 student-athletes from each of the 12 conference institutions were honored including; junior Klaire Adee (Rockford, Ill.), junior Jenna Andersen (Sterling Heights, Mich.), senior Karina Atkinson (Cincinnati, Ohio), senior Sydney Blomquist (Bel Air, Md.), senior Brooke Carrel (Powell, Ohio), senior Alexandra Frawley (Washington, Pa.), junior Katie George (Middleburg Heights, Ohio), sophomore Abby Gindlesberger (Canton, Ohio), redshirt sophomore Madison Kaser (Silver Lake, Ohio), redshirt senior Alex Luevano-Harden (Las Vegas, Nev.), sophomore Karin Norman (Stocksund, Sweden), junior Holly Ohradzansky (Avon, Ohio), senior Danielle Reymann (Columbus, Ohio), sophomore Sarah Sivic (Broadview Heights, Ohio), and junior Hannah Werth (Bloomington, Minn.).
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Teams, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport.
