Baseball Changes Weekend Series Schedule

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron baseball team has made a change to the weekend schedule with Eastern Michigan University due to inclement weather in the area. Akron and EMU will now play a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m., on Lee R. Jackson Field for UA's home opener, and then play one game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

This weekend is the opening of Mid-American Conference play for both Eastern Michigan and Akron. The Zips come into the weekend schedule with an overall record of 7-10, while the Eagles head into MAC play with an 8-8 record.
