AKRON, Ohio – Entry lists for the 2012 Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships were released by The University of Akron track and field coaching staff Wednesday.

For the second time in five years, Stile Athletics Field House will be the host site for the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships, which hits campus this Friday and Saturday.
Tickets for the event are $10 per day for adults or $15 for a two-day pass. Youth tickets will be available for $5 per day and $8 for a two-day pass. All students of MAC schools with valid student ID may purchase tickets for $2 per day.
All fans should enter the field house through the UA student recreation center main entrance where they can purchase their tickets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
It will be a busy weekend on campus overall with the MAC Swimming and Diving Championship meet running concurrently at Ocasek Natatorium. As such, track and field fans are strongly encouraged to park in Lot 9 (on the corner of Exchange and Spicer Streets near the football stadium) and Lot 10 (on the corner of Spicer and Vine Streets behind the Field House) for convenience purposes.
In all, the championship meet will feature men's teams from Akron, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Kent State while each league member will be gunning the title on the women's side.
MAC action begins on Friday morning with the men's heptathlon at 11 a.m. while the women's pentathlon starts at 11:30 a.m. Prelims will open with the 60-meter hurdles at 2 p.m. Finals will start with the men's mile at 1:15 p.m. Saturday.
