Individual Skills Camp and Clinics Brochure
AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron Volleyball program has extended the deadline to register for its Individual Skills Camp to July 15. The camp will be held July 18-19 on the Akron campus.
The individual camp will provide opportunities for players at all levels to improve fundamental skills. Set for grades five through 12th, campers will work on all aspects of the game including passing, serving, setting and attacking through fast paced drills and game like situations.
Akron is also offering Individual Skills Clinics on July 20-21 designed for athletes of all levels to hone their skills in certain areas. There is no registration deadline for these clinics. Groups will be broken up based on skill level to maximize development. Whether you are a beginner or college bound senior, Akron day clinics will help you develop and fine-tune your skills. Each clinic lasts three hours and campers can sign up for one or all five. The following clinics will be offered: Passing/Defensive, Setting, Hitting/Attacking, Serving, and Speed/Vertical.
