Baseball to Hold January Prospect Camp

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron baseball program and coach Rick Rembielak will host a prospect camp the weekend of January 7-8, 2012.
The camps are open to all 2012, 2013, and 2014 high school graduates who have a serious interest in playing baseball at the college level. Saturday's session will be designed for position players, while Sunday's camp will be for pitchers and catchers. The cost of the camp is $75 for one day, and $125 for both sessions.
Each day of the camp will run from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Stile Athletics Field House on The University of Akron campus. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Akron baseball staff and players will conduct the camp, with hitting, fielding, and base running to be covered on Saturday, and pitching and catching being taught on Sunday. All camp participants will receive an email evaluation following the weekend.
