Bunbury is having a breakout season for the consensus No. 1-ranked
team in the nation this fall with 11 goals and 25 points in 14
games. Both totals lead the Zips, who are also the top-ranked
offensive unit in the country - averaging 2.93 goals per match.
Entering the week, the native of Prior Lake, Minn., was ranked
ninth in the nation for goals scored and 11th for points.
Bunbury, whose father, Alex, played in the Canadian Soccer League,
has been the driving force in UA's attack in the second half of the
season. In fact since Sept. 20, the athletic forward has found the
net 10 times in nine games while notching a trio of two-goal
performances.
Bunbury and the Zips will be in action tonight at Buffalo in a
Mid-American Conference match-up starting at 7:30 p.m.
