September 27 | Men's Golf
- University of Akron senior
Blake Sattler was named
Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week today. Sattler received
the award after carding in a six-under-par score of 204 (65-71-68)
en route to taking medalist honors at the McLaughlin

The New Philadelphia, Ohio native tied his own school record with
an opening-round score of 65 (5-under) to help him lead the
tournament the entire way.
Sattler, who sat out all of last season as a medical redshirt, was
last name MAC Golfer of the week on April 12, 2005 after shooting a
career-best 11-under 202 at the Marshall Invitational.
Sattler and the rest of the Zips will return to the links on
Monday, Oct. 2, at the Xavier Invitational.
