Baseball Game Against Miami Postponed

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron has announced that the baseball game against Miami University scheduled for Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. (EDT) has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a Friday afternoon double header starting at 1 p.m. at Lee Jackson Field.

Akron will close out its regular-season schedule with Miami (Ohio) on Saturday at 1 p.m. In between games one and two of the double header on Friday, the Zips will celebrate Senior Day. On Saturday, the Zips will honor the 1996 MAC Tournament Championship team and recognize former head coach Dave Fross prior to the game
