"Going to the University helped me develop into a leader, coach, and father. I learned how to stay on time and on a schedule. I was forced to learn the ins and outs of my events in order to be great at what I was doing and not rely solely on the coaches. I had to help manage what was going on with the team in and out of practice as a captain. So many more lessons were learned, but those were a select few."
