Jane Uecker is in her first year as learning specialist for student-athlete academic services after joining the staff in the fall of 2022. In her role, Uecker helps student-athletes with securing academic accommodations and also provides one-on-one academic mentoring to multiple Varsity teams. An Akron native, she graduated from St. Vincent St Mary High School.

Uecker graduated from Bowling Green in the Spring of 2020 with a degree in economics and minor in sociology. During her time at Bowling Green, Uecker was a member of the women’s basketball team.

Prior to joining the department of athletics, Uecker worked at Hunter International Recruiting as a business development lead/technical recruiter for nearly two years.

Uecker is going into her second season as the head varsity girls basketball coach at North High School.
