as a Junior (Fall 2008): Posted a 5-1 record atthe Fall Mid-American Conference Invitational as she and partnersenior Alyssa Carlson won the No. 4doubles flight and she won the consolation draw of the No. 4singles flight... Finalist in No. 4 doubles bracket at BowlingGreen Invitational.
as a Redshirt Sophomore (Spring 2008): Named ITAScholar-Athlete and UA Scholar Baller... Four Mid-AmericanConference doubles wins with partner freshman JeremieBenjamin was the most by an Akron doubles team since the1998-99 season... Nine dual match doubles victories with Benjaminwas the highest total on the team... Twenty-seven combined singlesand doubles wins more than doubled her total wins (13) from herinjury plagued freshman and redshirt freshman campaigns... Sixteendoubles wins equaled the sixth best single-season total since1998-99... Most memorable moments were four MAC wins in doubleswith Benjamin.
as a Redshirt Sophomore (Fall 2007): Reachedfinal in “B” doubles at Martha Thorn Invitational atWest Virginia University... Partnered with junior TanyaradzwaGombera to reach semifinals of “B” doubles at QueenCity Invitational, with wins over MAC rivals Miami (Ohio) and BallState... Selected as one of team’s Student-Athlete AdvisoryCouncil (SAAC) representatives.
as a Sophomore (Spring 2007): First Akron playernamed MAC Player of the Week since April 2003, earning the honorfor winning the decisive last-match-on-court against ClevelandState after trailing 5-2 in the third set... Missed all but twomatches due to season-ending injury... Granted NCAA medicalredshirt... Undefeated in dual match play, two singles and onedoubles match, before being injured... Most memorable moment wasdeciding win over Cleveland State.
as a Sophomore (Fall 2006): Wins over WestVirginia and Pittsburgh helped her to a team best semifinal showing(No. 3 singles) at the Martha Thorn Invitational at the Universityof West Virginia... Also reached semifinals at the Bowling GreenInvitational at No. 3 singles... Posted a 3-3 singles record.
as a Freshman (Spring 2006): Sat out nearly twomonths with an ankle injury... Posted a 2-7 record at No. 2singles, including a 6-1, 6-0 win at Texas Southern before herinjury.
as a Freshman (Fall 2005): Represented team inboth singles and doubles at ITA Midwest Regional... Posted a 3-2record in doubles including a semifinal showing in the lone doublesdraw at the Zips Invitational.
Prior to Akron: Competed in International TennisFederation events in Morocco, Tunisia and South Africa, andrepresented Zimbabwe in the Les Jeunes Dodos Tournament on theislands of Mauritius and Reunion... Played in Super 7 tournamentsin South Africa, and was part of the Zimbabwe school team thatfinished in the top five of 20 schools in that competition...Earned both Sportswomen of the Year and Most Valuable Tennis PlayerAwards... Selected to provincial field hockey team... In 2002, sheplayed at the Coastal Tennis Academy and was runner-up in theCoastal Border Tournament... In 2001, she won the MashonalandJunior Open and was the runner-up at the Old Mutual InterprovincialTournament.
