“Coach Wyshner was the biggest reasonI chose Akron. I’ve never seen a coach that is so into theteam and the University. I hadn’t considered Akron until Ifound out there was a new coach, but after contacting Coach Wyshnerand taking an official visit, I knew Akron was where I wanted tobe.”

as a Sophomore (Spring 2009): Paired withteammate senior Lindsey Berry togo 6-2 in Mid-American Conference doubles play … one of fourplayers on the team to win six conference doubles matches, breakingthe team record of four league doubles wins … with 31combined singles and doubles wins, became the first UA player since1995 to reach 30-plus victories over her freshman and sophomoreseasons … most memorable moments of the season includeddual-match wins over Bowling Green (April 10) and Northern Illinois(March 27), and team trip to Colorado Springs, Colo.
