Former team captain Carli Knezevich is in her first season as the team’s manager in 2018-19 after completing her eligibility in Spring 2018.
The three-time Academic All-MAC selection, ITA Scholar Athlete, and Dean’s List student is assisting coach Brandon Padgett and the Zips as she completes her bachelor’s degree in marketing.
During her collegiate career, Knezevich registered 46 wins in singles action, playing mostly at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions. In doubles, she had 53 career victories. The Austin, Texas native was named the team’s Most Improved Player in 2017. She was a co-captain as a senior in 2018.
Knezevich is expected to earn her degree in May 2019.
