PRIOR TO AKRON: A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bransford, a 5-7 guard, came to Akron from Mount Notre Dame High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. A four-year letterwinner, she helped her squad to a pair of district titles and conference championships in each of her first three campaigns. A second-team all-state honoree as a junior, she was named the Girls Greater Catholic League Player of the Year and a first-team all-league performer. She enters her senior season averaging 12.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals per contest.
