As a Senior (2016-17): Started all 30 games for the Zips...averaged team-high marks in scoring (16.4), field goals made (155) and attempted (432), free throws made (105) and attempted (135), three pointers made (78) and attempted (247), defensive rebounds (122) and total points (493) en route to garnering honorable mention All-MAC accolades...rated second on the squad in steals (21) and free throw percentage (.778), third in total rebounding (4.7), total rebounds (141) and assists (45)...named MAC East Player of the Week on three occasions (Nov. 22, Dec. 20 and Dec. 27)...finished her career with 313 three pointers, the third-highest total in MAC women’s basketball history...posted 24 double-figure scoring and four double-digit rebounding efforts for the Zips...led Akron in scoring 20 times and registered 20 or more points 10 times...garnered three double-doubles...opened the campaign scoring 20 and 22 points, respectively, versus Malone and Penn State, before exploding for a career-best 39-point explosion on 12-of-21 shooting, including making a school-record nine three pointers, in a 73-64 victory at Cansius (Nov. 20)...the 39-point effort represented the second-best single-game scoring output in program history...she posted her first career double-double with an 18-point, 11-rebound performance in a 76-74 overtime win at Youngstown State (Dec. 6)...named to the Georgia State Classic All-Tournament squad following games of 25 and 27 points, respectively, against Georgia State (Dec. 20) and Elon (Dec. 21)...she pulled down 10 rebounds versus Elon for her second double-double of the year...became Akron’s all-time leader in three pointers when she connected on her second of three triples at Western Michigan on Dec. 31, surpassing Taylor Ruper’s (2009-13) school-record 269 three pointers made...narrowly missed another double-double in a 62-58 setback against Bowling Green (Jan. 7) scoring nine points, while snatching a career-high 12 rebounds....turned in a 19-point, 11-rebound effort in an 85-69 loss versus Ohio (Jan. 11)...scored in double figures in 14 of 18 league contests...posted eighth-best single-game effort for three pointers (6) in a victory past Eastern Michigan (Jan. 28)...made four or more three pointers in a game on 10 occasions...recorded her 300th career three pointer in a 73-69 setback versus Kent State (Feb. 11)...a first-team preseason All-MAC selection...finished the 2016-17 campaign ranked No. 4, 6 and 9, respectively, on the Akron single-season record book for three pointers attempted (247), triples made (78) and field goals attempted in a season (432)...concluded Zips’ career rated first in Akron record book in three pointers (313) and triples attempted (921), second in field goals attempted (1,462), fourth in games played (127) and scoring (1,675), seventh in points per game (13.2), three-point percentage (.340), free throws made (274) and free throws percentage (.741) and eighth in free throws attempted (370) and field goals made (544)...rated sixth in the MAC in triples made (78) and three pointers per game (2.6), eighth in scoring (16.4) and 10th in free throw percentage (.778)...ranked eighth in the MAC for league-only games three pointers made (44) and triples per game (2.4).
As a Junior (2015-16): Started all 33 games for the Zips averaging 16.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest en route to being tabbed a second-team All-Mid-American Conference honoree...registered a school-record 104 three-pointers, while also attempting a single-season record 302 triples and rating seventh and ninth, respectively, on the single-season list for field goals attempted (460) and points scored (537)...scored her 1,000th point in Akron’s 77-65 victory over Miami (Feb. 6)...scored in double figures in 27 games, including recording 20 or more points in 11 tilts...connected on four or more three-pointers in 15 games...posted the second-best single-game effort for three-pointers drilling seven versus Buffalo in the MAC Tournament semifinals (March 11)...scored a career-high 30 points on 8-of-13 shooting (61.5 percent) in a 78-66 victory past Kent State (Feb. 17)...sent Zips into overtime at Northern Kentucky for what proved to be a 77-75 win, hitting a three-pointer with 4.3 seconds remaining in regulation...netted 17 of her game-high 22 points in the second half, including seven in overtime to spark an Akron 68-65 win at Eastern Michigan (Jan. 6)...led the Zips in scoring eight times...finished campaign ranked fifth, seventh and 10th, respectively, in the NCAA in triples attempted (302), three-pointers made (104) and triples per game (3.15)...rated second in the MAC in three-pointers per outing (3.2) and sixth in scoring (16.3), while ranking second in three-pointers per night (3.4) and fifth in scoring (17.4) in league-only affairs...will enter senior campaign ranked among the top-10 in the Akron career record book in six categories as she sits second in three-pointers made (235), triples attempted (674), seventh in three-point percentage (.349) and free throw percentage (.719) and 10th in points scored (1,182) and scoring average (12.2)...a MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete recipient and first-team Academic All-MAC selection.
As a Sophomore (2014-15): Started all 31 games registering 13.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game en route to earning third-team All-MAC accolades...named an Academic All-MAC selection...set a then single-season school record for three pointers made with 97 and attempted the then second-highest single-season total (260) in program history...led the squad in three pointers, while rating third in three-point percentage (.373), fourth in rebounds (103), defensive rebounds (93) and assists (60), and fifth in steals (24)...ranked fifth nationally in three pointers made per game (3.13) and 71st in three-point percentage...scored in double figures 18 times, posting fives games of scoring 20 or more points...poured in 26 points on 8-of-18 shooting, including making five three pointers in a 102-101 victory at Toledo (Jan. 14)...made at least four triples in 15 contests, including nailing six three pointers versus Eastern Michigan (Jan. 10) and at Bowling Green (March 7)...the six three pointers represented the then sixth-best single-game effort in program history...registered a triple in every tilt, including recording two or more three pointers in 27 games...scored in double figures in 12 of 18 conference games...distributed a career-high eight assists at Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 15)...ranked first in the conference in three pointers made (3.1), second in three pointers (97), seventh in three-point percentage (.373) and 12th in scoring (13.2)...led the league in conference-only games in three pointers made (3.4), while rating seventh in three-point percentage (.378) and minutes played (34.2)...scored 18, 17, 10 and 18 points, respectively, versus Morehead State (Dec. 5), Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 15), Central Florida (Dec. 17) and Ohio Christian (Dec. 20)...turned in back-to-back games scoring 25 or more points registering 25 and 26 points, respectively, against Eastern Michigan (Jan. 10) and Toledo (Jan. 14)...tabbed as MAC East Player of the Week on Jan. 12 after averaging 16.5 points on 55 percent shooting versus Bowling Green (Jan. 7) and Eastern Michigan (Jan. 10)...also added six and five triples in those contests...shot 7-for-16 from the field, including making five of a school-record then 13 three pointers to help spark Akron to its first win at Central Michigan (Jan. 24) since 2001...scored 21 points with four triples in a home win over Buffalo (Feb. 11)...netted 15 points, including making five triples versus Kansas State (March 19) in the opening round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
As a Freshman (2013-14): Named to the All-MAC Freshman Team, the first Zip to earn the honor since 2011 … Appeared in 33 games, making 32 starts in her rookie season … averaged 25.3 minutes per game and 7.1 points per game … third-best on the team with a 1.8 assist to turnover ratio … tied for third on the team with two assists per game … scored in double figures in three out of the first four games, helping to total 11 games on the year with a double-digit effort ... played a season-high 35 minutes against Miami (Ohio) (Jan. 15) and posted six rebounds, four assists and 13 points … scored a season-best 16 points in a victory over Ohio (Jan. 23) after going 7-of-11 from the field and grabbing four rebounds … registered seven rebounds on two occasions, once at Ball State (Feb. 15) to go with a 15-point performance … averaged 8.2 points per game during conference play, adding 34 assists against league opponents.
At Orrville High School: Named the 2013 Division III Player of the Year in the state of Ohio...four-time All-Ohio selection, including three first-team nods...led her team to a 26-3 record, district and regional championships and the state final four as a senior...set the school’s and the county’s all-time scoring record with 2,107 points...averaged 20.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game for her career...two-time conference player of the year and district player of the year...named to the All-Ohio academic first team in 2013...also earned first team all-academic in track and first team all-league and all-district in volleyball...led Orrville to the state competition in all three sports her senior year.
Personal: Born June 7...daughter of J.D. and Linda Plybon…will complete her master’s degree in exercise physiology in December 2016 and is currently pursuing her MBA in health care management...earned her undergraduate degree in August, 2015 in speech language.
