Jared Roane is in his second season as the graduate manager/video coordinator on Jodi Kest's staff.
Roane's duties with the program include coordinating all of the squad's video needs, specializing in synergy, dv sports, and fast model as well as film breakdown and editing, recording practices and games, team Playbook and film exchange.
During the 2012-13 season, he was the video coordinator for Impact Basketball Academy in Sarasota, Fla. The following year he was a full-time staff member, serving as the Academy's Director of Oparations/Video Coordinator from 2013-14.
Roane was formerly a practice player for the Akron women's basketball team from 2009-11.Â
A 2011 Akron graduate with a bachelor's degree in sport management, Roane is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports administration from UA.
