As a Redshirt Senior (2017): Academic All-MAC … played in 12 games with one start at center … also saw action on the punt and kickoff return units … in the win over Ohio, helped the Zips to 443 yards of total offense and four passing touchdowns while securing Akron’s top spot in the MAC East … the offensive line provided perfect protection in the win over Arkansas Pine Bluff, helping UA to 267 rushing yards and five touchdowns … lettered.

As a Redshirt Junior (2016): CoSIDA Academic All-America nominee … Academic All-MAC … played in all 12 games with one start at center … also saw action on the punt unit … appeared in the starting line-up in the win at Ball State … lettered.

As a Junior (2015): Redshirted.

College: Spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons at Iowa Western Community College … 2014 All-Conference selection … team went 11-1 overall both seasons … only loss in 2014 was in the National Championship game.

High School: Third-team All-State in 2012 … All-Conference selection … two-year letterwinner for coach Jerry Pezzetti at Ankeny HS … team went a perfect 14-0 his senior year en route to the 2012 state championship … team advanced to the 2011 state semifinals, finishing at 11-2 overall … also a three-year letterwinner in wrestling.
