Junior (2008): Started each of the first 11 games at rover, missing the season finale at Temple due to injury ... Tied for sixth on the squad with 63 stops ... Ranked second on the team with nine tackles at both Wisconsin and Kent State ... Caused a fumble at Kent State, the first of his career ... Led the team with 10 tackles versus Bowling Green, adding a fumble recovery and a PBU ... Backed that with getting nine tackles at Eastern Michigan, including eight solo.
Sophomore (2007): Played in all 12 games, getting five starting assignments at Rover with the injury to John Mackey during the Kent State game … In that Kent State game, Cobham tied for second on the team with six tackles (four solo) and had a pass breakup … Also, late in the game, he came up with a key fumble recovery … In his first game as a starter, at Connecticut, he also had six tackles … At Western Michigan, had eight solo stops and a career-high 14 total tackles, which was the most by a Zip for a single game in 2007 ... In his last game as starter (before Mackey returned full time), Cobham had seven tackles, including five solo, at Bowling Green.

Prior to Akron: Earned all-county and all-area honors at Flanagan HS and received an invitation to the prestigious Broward All-Star Game in 2005 ...
