As a Senior (2015): John Heisman Award … started all 13 games on the offensive line … 11 starts were at right guard and two at left guard … one of 12 Zips to start every game … all five starters combined for 121 starting nods between them … Akron’s run blocking and pass protection schemes elevated the offensive production this season … the Zips averaged 164.8 yards per game on the ground, 41.1 yards better than last season … the Zips rushed for 2,143 total yards, exceeding year’s season total of 1,484 (after just 10 games) … the O-Line allowed eight fewer sacks.

As a Junior (2014): Appeared in 11 games with 10 starts at right guard in first season with the Zips ... also saw action on the field goal unit ... received a hardship waiver from the NCAA and was able to compete immediately after transferring.

At Ohio State: As a sophomore (2013): Saw action in all 14 games ... on the field for 208 plays, most on special teams ... had a career-high 51 plays on offense against Florida A&M ... had a Big Ten-game best 34 plays on offense against Purdue ... saw 20 plays against Penn State ... lettered.
