As a Senior (2015): Recipient of the John Heisman Award … played in all 13 games with 11 starts … six starts were at right tackle and five at left tackle … also played on the field goal unit … all five starters had started a combined 121 starting nods between them … Akron’s run blocking and pass protection schemes elevated the offensive production this season … the Zips averaged 164.8 yards per game on the ground, 41.1 yards better than last season … the Zips rushed for 2,143 total yards, exceeding year’s season total of 1,484 (after just 10 games) … the O-Line allowed eight fewer sacks.

As a Junior (2014): Appeared in all 12 games with seven starts, four at left tackle and three at right tackle ... also saw action on the field goal unit ... gave up no sacks in the win over Howard.

As a Sophomore (2013): Saw action in two games ... made his season debut against James Madison ... also saw time against Ohio.

As a Freshman (2012): Played in five games ... started at left tackle in the last three contests of the campaign ... member of a front line that supported an offense ranked first in the Mid-American Conference and 16th nationally in passing (312.8 ypg), and sixth in the league and 45th in the country in total offense (427.2 ypg).

High School: Led Hudson HS to a 10-2 record and the second round of the Division I state playoffs in 2011 ... three-year letterwinner ... All-Ohio third team honoree as a senior.
