PRIOR TO AKRON: Played guard and tight end for coach Chuck Kyle at St. Ignatius HS against the toughest competition in the country...moved to offensive guard as a senior...broke into the starting line-up at right guard...team went 8-3 in 2018 and ranked No. 36 nationally...moved to tight end as a junior...played offensive tackle as a sophomore and freshman...Honor Roll student.
