High School: First-team All-Portage Trail Conference and second-team All-District as a senior … played offensive tackle, defensive tackle, and nose tackle for coach John Arlesic at Streetsboro HS … second-team All-Conference in 2012 … helped team to its first playoff game in 20 years as a junior in 2012 … also a two-year letterwinner in track … finished third in the conference, 4th in the district, and ninth in the region in the shot put as a senior in 2014 … named MVP for men’s field events.
