PRIOR TO AKRON: Three-year letterwinner for coach Nick Civilli at North Royalton High School...saw action at left guard, center, defensive tackle, and long snapper...2017 first-team All-Suburban League honoree...team went 6-4 his senior season...member of conference championship squad as a freshman in 2014...three-time recipient of the Bear Award for a 3.5+ GPA during the season...also played rugby.

PERSONAL: Majoring in emergency management and homeland security major...son of Mike and Rebecca Bauman and Cindy Burke...the oldest of five...has three brothers – Kevin, Owen, and Nolan– and sister Alianna.
