Prior to Akron: At Santa Rosa CC, accounted for 30 tackles, 20 of which were solo, and 3 interceptions … Selected to the All-Northern California Conference team as a cornerback … At Davidson HS: Rushed for 1,059 yards and scored 12 touchdowns as a junior … Also played basketball and ran track in high school … Did not play football until his junior year of high school.
