Junior (2006): After missing the second half of the 2005 season, returned to play in 11 games (missing the Cincinnati contest) with starts at strong safety versus Penn State, North Carolina State, Central Michigan and North Texas ... Tallied 28 tackles on the season ... At Penn State, credited with four tackles ... Followed that with five stops in the win at North Carolina State ... Recorded a career-high seven tackles (six solo) versus North Texas ... After missing the Cincinnati game, only made seven tackles over the final six games.
Sophomore (2005): Started the first six games at strong safety before suffering a season-ending knee injury at Miami ... Before his injury, among the leading tacklers with 26 (16 solo) ... Credited with a fumble recovery in the season opener at Purdue ... Had five solo stops at Middle Tennessee State, finishing the game with six tackles ... One game later, posted a season-high seven tackles (four solo) as the Zips downed Northern Illinois in overtime (Sept. 24).Redshirt Freshman (2004): Appeared in all 11 games, earning the start at strong safety in the last nine ... Finished fourth on the squad in tackles with 68 ... Tied for the team lead with six pass breakups ... Made nine stops (six solo) and forced a fumble vs. Middle Tennessee State ... One of four UA players with double digit tackles at Kent State, finishing with 12 ... Forced a fumble and returned it 31 yards in the first quarter at UCF, leading to an Akron touchdown ... Six of his seven tackles in the 35-23 win over Ball State were solo ... Had a career night with 14 tackles as the Zips came from 21 points down to defeat Marshall on national television.
