Bio
2021: Appeared in 10 games for the Zips...rushed for 207 yards on the campaign on 56 carries, while finding the endzone in Akron’s win over Bryant (Sept. 18)...pulled in seven passes for 74 yards on the year, including a season-best 22-yard reception at Auburn (Sept. 4)...ran for 36 yards on six carries against Temple (Sept. 11)...garnered a season-high 39 yards on nine carries, while adding a 20-yard reception versus Bryant (Sept. 18)...added 31, 25, 23 and 23 yards rushing, respectively, against Ball State (Nov. 2), Miami (Oct. 16), Bowling Green (Oct. 9) and Buffalo (Oct. 23).
PRIOR TO AKRON: A running back was a four-year letterwinner at Bollingbrook High School under head coach John Ivlow...came to Akron from Michigan State where he played in 12 games as a freshman in 2019 ranking third on the team in rushing with 118 yards and one TD on 38 carries, while recording six receptions for 77 yards...also had five kick returns for 93 yards (18.6 ypr) with a long of 24 yards...ranked the No. 2 running back in the state of Illinois by 247Sports and ESPN.com, as well as the No. 1 all-purpose back in Illinois by Rivals.com...rated one of the top overall prospects in Illinois by ESPN.com (No. 11), Rivals.com (No. 14) and 247Sports (No. 19)...ranked among the nation’s best running backs according to ESPN.com (No. 49) and 247Sports (No. 67) and was listed as the No. 10 all-purpose back in the country by Rivals.com...named one of the Midwest’s top 100 players by ESPN.com...a first-team All-State selection by The News-Gazette, he helped lead Bolingbrook to a 7-3 record and a berth in the Illinois Class 8A state playoffs...rushed for 215 yards on just 15 carries and scored four touchdowns in a win over Lockport that made the Raiders playoff eligible, while also helping the Raiders reach the Class 8A playoffs his junior season.
