Zips Athletics Announces New Zippy's Kids Club
AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron Department of Athletics is proud to announce the new Zippy’s Kids Club, presented by North Akron Savings Bank.
As the exclusive club for Zips fans 12 and under, youth will be given two options to join the club: the Blue Package and the premium Gold Package.
The Blue package is free of charge and includes:
• Quarterly e-newsletter
• Membership card
• Birthday card from Zippy
• Rewards card
The Gold package costs $30 and includes:
• Everything in the Blue package
• T-shirt
• Zippy tattoo
• Zippy sticker
• Invitation to special events
• Free admission to designated games in each sport
• Chance to be a ball boy/girl or kickoff kid
• Autographed poster
For Gold members, a charge of $20 will be assessed for each additional child. To receive this discount, memberships must be purchased at the same time. A discounted rate of only $20 is also available for University of Akron faculty and staff.
Due to NCAA regulations, children must be 12 and under. Memberships are valid for one year.
