Nate Newhouse was named the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations at The University of Akron in January 2012.
A 2011 graduate of Akron with a bachelor's degree in sport studies/sport management, Newhouse served internships with UA Athletics Development, the Akron Racers, and the Ohio Vortex as an undergraduate. He worked as a student assistant and graduate assistant in the UA Athletics Ticket Office prior to obtaining his current full-time position.
A member of the Honors College, Newhouse graduated summa cum laude. He is currently pursuing a MBA in management at Akron.
