HOOPS AND OTHER EVENTS ALL WEEK
Starting tonight, we have three basketball games at James A. Rhodes Arena in the next four nights for you to get your hoops fill:
-Tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. – Men vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff: $1 Dog Night

-Friday at 7 p.m. – Women vs. Morehead State: Residence Hall Challenge and AK-Rowdies Appreciation Night
Head Coach Jodi Kest and our Women’s team are red-hot to start the year, with a perfect 6-0 record after winning the Denver Thanksgiving Tournament by defeating Belmont and Siena (our second tournament win after capturing the inaugural Akron Classic at home). The Zips entered this week ranked 14th in the nation in scoring (84.5 ppg). As always, tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 888-992-5766 (99-AKRON) or visiting GoZips.com/tickets. Please keep our mini plans in mind as great holiday presents and stocking stuffers!
Finally, this week Swimming and Diving also hosts our annual Zippy Invitational at Ocasek Natatorium from Friday through Sunday, with morning and evening sessions each day for our biggest home meet of the year. Please stop by and cheer on our defending MAC champions!
