SEE YOU TOMORROW AT INFOCISION STADIUM – SUMMA FIELD!
Our Football Spring Game will be held tomorrow, along with our fourth annual Youth Clinic. The clinic begins at 11 a.m., and the game kicks off at 1 p.m. Our Spring Practice Central page can fill you in on everything you need to know about Zips Football.
Our baseball game tomorrow will be played at 2 p.m. on campus at Lee R. Jackson Field, so after watching football you can make the short walk to cheer on Coach Rembielak and his squad.
Our football alumni will gather tonight at Beau’s Grille at the Hilton in Fairlawn and can eat the pre-game meal with the team tomorrow, as well as enjoy each other’s company. Here’s their itinerary …
Friday April 26th 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. – Alumni Welcome Reception – Beau’s Grille at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn
Saturday, April 27th 8:30 a.m. – Alumni Registration – Lobby of InfoCision Stadium 9 a.m. – Pre-game meal with current team – 7th Floor of InfoCision Stadium* 10:30 a.m. – Alumni Reception – 5th Floor of InfoCision Stadium 1 p.m. – Spring Game 3:30 p.m. – Private post-game tailgate with Football Staff – Field House * Pre-game meal will be for alumni only, families are welcome in the reception area on the fifth floor of InfoCision Stadium during this time.
**** Parking will be reserved for alumni in Lot 10, adjacent to the Stile Athletics Field House ****
Cost: $30 per person and walk-ups are accepted.
FINAL ZIPS ATHLETICS STRATEGIC PLANNING OPEN FORUM
Tomorrow is our final public forum to hear your feedback regarding our strategic planning process. Please join us from noon to 1 p.m. on the FirstMerit Foundation Club Level (fifth floor) of InfoCision Stadium, immediately prior to the spring football game.

-Our friends at Canal Park (where our baseball team plays tonight at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.) are hosting UA Night on Saturday, May 4, which includes a Jim Tressel bobblehead giveaway to the first 1,000 fans. Our own UA Marching Band will perform as well. The Aeros play the Bowie Baysox starting at 6:05 p.m.
