ZIPS ATHLETICS STRATEGIC PLANNING OPEN FORUMS
We heard from you – more than 1,200 of you, actually! – when we distributed our survey seeking your feedback on Zips Athletics as part of our strategic planning process. Now, we would like to have a conversation about it.
Please join us next week for one of the two open forums we are hosting to discuss publicly with you our plan and your feedback.
-Thursday, April 25, noon to 1:30 p.m. in Student Union 316 – for University faculty, staff and students
-Saturday, April 27, noon to 1 p.m. in the FirstMerit Foundation Club Level (fifth floor) of InfoCision Stadium, immediately prior to the spring football game.
I hope to see you at one of these sessions and appreciate your thoughtfulness about Zips Athletics.
2013 SOCCER SCHEDULES RELEASED
This week our Men’s and Women’s Soccer head coaches announced our 2013 fall schedules, and with that season ticket renewals have been e-mailed as well.
Jared Embick is excited for the slate of opponents that he and our Men’s team will face in his first season as our head coach. We’ll host Michigan State, Ohio State, VCU and Wake Forest among our 10 home matches. Please note that starting this fall, our normal game time will be 7 p.m. (instead of 7:30 p.m.) so it’s easier for more families and youth teams to attend. Click here to buy or renew season tickets.
Vernon Croft and our Women will play eight times at FirstEnergy Stadium-Cub Cadet Field in 2013, including matches against 2012 NCAA Tournament participants Central Michigan and Miami (OH), as well as perennial participant Boston University. Season tickets are available here.
