As a Junior (2018-19): Posted career numbers in year three for the Zips while starting all 31 contests as a forward … recorded career numbers in minutes (910), points (270), field goals made (112), field goal percentage (.583), made free throws (46), three throw percentage (.719), offensive rebounds (89), defensive rebounds (119), total rebounds (208), assists (51), and blocks (32) … averaged 8.7 points per game, 6.7 boards per contest, and 1.6 apg … teams second-best rebounder averaging 6.7 rebounds per game … top offensive rebounder on the Zips squad with a team-high 89 offensive boards and 2.9 average … grabbed a team-best eight offensive rebounds against Canisius, notched at least two off. caroms in 22 contests, and a team-high in offensive rebounds in 13 matchups … tallied a career-high 14 rebounds against Buffalo (7 def/7 off) … averaged a career-high 8.7 points per game in the scoring column … registered 14 double-digit scoring performances, including a career-high 18 points against Ohio … posted the first double-double of her career against Youngstown State and went on to tally four total on the season … the frontcourt dynamic duo of Vari and Haliegh Reinoehl scored a combined 34 points and 27 rebounds against Buffalo. As a Sophomore (2017-18): Played in 26 contests while making 11 appearances in the starting five … in 565 minutes of play, averaged 5.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game … was the team’s second leading rebounder with 146 total boards, 97 defensive rebounds, and 49 offensive caroms … shot a team-high .520 from the floor en route to 150 total points … ranked fifth overall in the MAC in field goal percentage and fifth in league play only (.570) … shot .600 percent or better from the floor in 12 contests … her .520 field goal percentage ranks sixth all-time in program history in a single-season … scored a career-high 12 points against Ohio while also grabbing nine rebounds … reeled in a career-best 16 rebounds (12 defensive, 4 offensive) in game two against Southeastern Louisiana … tallied 16 games with over five rebounds per contest … posted season-highs in field goals made (6), field goals attempted (10), assists (2), blocks (3), and steals (3) … played a season-most 31 minutes against Bowling Green and scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds.
As a Freshman (2016-17): Appeared in all 30 games for the Zips, including earning seven starts...averaged 2.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest...registered 2.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per tilt in league play...ranked second on the team in field goal percentage (.458) connecting on 33-of-72 attempts...rated third on the team in offensive rebounds (41) and fifth in total rebounds (118), rebounding (3.9) and defensive rebounds (77)...registered a career-best six points at Buffalo (Feb. 18) and Bowling Green (Feb. 4) and versus Duquesne (Dec. 17)...pulled down a season-high nine rebounds in a 84-55 victory at Northern Illinois (Jan. 18)...also corralled eight rebounds apiece at Ohio (March 4) and versus Toledo (Feb. 15)...dished out a career-best two assists at Buffalo (Feb. 18) and versus Elon (Dec. 21)...rejected an Akron season-high four shots in the Zips’ 63-57 victory at Eastern Kentucky (Dec. 10), the eighth-best single-game effort in program history...registered a career-high two steals at Northern Illinois (Jan. 18).
Revere High School: A three-time all-state honoree at Revere High School...named a first-team All-Suburban League recipient in each of her first three seasons...was named an honorable mention All-Ohio recipient as a junior after averaging 14.9 points and 10.0 rebounds per game...missed her senior campaign after suffering an ACL injury, one in which the Minutemen captured the conference title...garnered special-mention all-state laurels as a sophomore after posting 14.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game...named honorable mention all-state as a freshman after recording 15.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per outing.
