as a Junior (2010-11): Appeared in 36 games, making 35 starts ... tied the school record for games played in a season (36) ... third on the team in scoring (10.0 points/game) ... led the team with 2.3 3-point field goals made per game ... set career season highs in every statistical category, most notably points (360), points per game (10.0), rebounds (129), rebounds per game (3.6), shooting percentage (.423) and 3-point percentage (.389) ... finished the season ranked fourth in the MAC in 3-pointers made (2.3), 11th in 3-point percentage and 28th in points per game (10.0) ... set single-game highs in scoring (22), rebounds (10), assists (4, four times), blocked shots (2) and minutes played (41) ... opened the season with two 20-point performances, including a then-career-high 21 points at Dayton (Nov. 16) ... followed that performance with his first-career double-double (22/10) against Youngstown State (Nov. 20), including a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime ... reached double figures in scoring 19 times, including three 20-point performances ... helped lead the Zips' to a double-overtime victory in the MAC Tournament Quarterfinals with a 20 point, nine rebound effort (March 10) ... recorded just one blocked shot in 80 career games before swatting two shots against Ball State (Feb. 12) ... made a personal and team-best six 3-point buckets (6-for-7) against Bowling Green on Feb. 15 ... recorded at least one bucket from behind the 3-point line in 32-of-36 games.
as a Sophomore (2009-10): Appeared in all 35 contests, including four starts ... made his first collegiate start in the season opener against Austin Peay (Nov. 15) ... opened the season with four starts in the Zips' first five contests ... 26 of his 42 buckets came from behind the 3-point arc ... finished in the top-five in 3-point percentage (33.3 percent), 3-point field goal attempts (78) and 3-point field goals made (26) ... recorded four double-digit point totals in the first 10 games, including a season-high 12 points against Drake (Nov. 21) ... scored 10 points against Howard (Nov. 22) before netting back-to-back 11-point performances against UNC-Greensboro (Dec. 18) and St. Francis (Pa.) (Dec. 20) ... grabbed a season-best five boards in the Howard game (Nov. 22).
as a Freshman (2008-09): Made first collegiate appearance at Bowling Green (Jan. 17), after being a redshirt candidate through the first half of the season ... 23 of his 29 field goals made were 3-pointers and he recorded at least one 3-pointer in 16 of the 21 games in which he played ... converted three 3-pointers in two games (going 3-of-5 at Toledo on Jan. 28 and 3-of-4 versus Western Michigan on Feb. 8) ... scored a season-high 13 points in a career-long 21 minutes in the WMU contest ... went 4-of-4 from the field and 2-of-2 from 3-point range in a 10-point effort at Buffalo (Feb. 26) ... tallied a career-high three steals at Eastern Michigan (Feb. 3) and had a career-best three assists at Toledo (Jan. 28) ... snagged three rebounds on three occasions.
at Nitro High School: Averaged 20.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 83 percent from the free throw line as a senior ... first-team all-state choice as a junior and senior ... finished his interscholastic career as a 1,000-point scorer and made over 200 3-point field goals ... credited with 82 made 3-pointers as a senior and 64 as a junior ... set the school's single-game record for 3-pointers made (11) ... during his junior year, averaged 23.0 points, 5.2 assists and 4.1 steals ... also during his junior season scored a school-record 47 points in a game versus Hurricane High, that number tied O.J. Mayo (Huntington, W.Va./Huntington HS) for the highest point total in the state that season ... all-state performer in football (receiver) and baseball (outfielder) as a senior (only year he competed in those sports) ... Nitro High won the state baseball title in 2008.
