Akron Draws Michigan in NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament

2025 NCAA WOMEN'S LACROSSE BRACKET
AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron lacrosse team learned its draw for the 2025 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday (May 4), and the Zips (11-7) earned the Mid-American Conference's automatic bid and will travel to Evanston, Ill., to battle Michigan (12-6) in first-round action on Friday (May 9), at 3 p.m. ET at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium on the Northwestern University campus.
The advancing team moves on to a second-round showdown at No. 3 Northwestern (16-2) on Sunday (May 11) at 3 p.m. ET.
The 2025 semifinal and championship matches will be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. on May 23 and 25.
The Zips will be making their first all-time appearance in the NCAA postseason.
