Zips Football Opens Spring Practice

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron football program, under the leadership of third-year head coach Joe Moorhead, kicked off the first of 15 spring practices on Tuesday, March 18, at the Stile Athletics Field House.
The team will practice Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays throughout the spring. Practices are closed to the public.
The Zips' annual Spring Game is slated for Friday evening on April 25.
Akron will kick off its 2025 campaign at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field on Thursday, August 28 against Wyoming. After the home opener, the Zips season will continue with a pair of road games against Nebraska (Sat, Sept. 6) and UAB (Sat, Sept. 13) before returning to Akron to play Duquesne on Saturday, Sept. 20 to complete the non-conference schedule and enter #MACtion.

Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
