Zips Finish Day One of the Buffalo Diving Invitational

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Two Zips competed in the 3-meter diving finals on the first day of the Buffalo Diving Invitational.
In the prelims, Laurel Smith led Akron with a score of 244.35 for a seventh-place finish. Elizabeth Noble was next for the Blue and Gold with a score of 239.65 for 11th. Sophia Stamm and Paige Bush also represented Akron.
In the 3-meter finals, Smith led the Zips with an eighth-place finish and a score of 234.95. Noble finished in 10th with a score of 226.80.
The Buffalo Diving Invitational continues tomorrow, January 11, with the 1-meter diving event on the schedule.
