Akron Women's Basketball Unveils 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

2024-25 AKRON WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron women's basketball team under the leadership of second-year head coach Ryan Gensler unveiled its 2024-25 non-conference schedule on Monday.
The non-conference slate is highlighted by seven games at James A. Rhodes Arena for the Zips, including squaring off against Michigan on Dec. 20.
Akron opens its campaign hosting Georgia State on Nov. 4 as part of the second annual MAC-Sun Belt Challenge before traveling to Binghamton (Nov. 7).
The Zips return to James A. Rhodes Arena to entertain Robert Morris (Nov. 13) and Cleveland State (Nov. 16) before embarking on a four-game road swing to close the month of November. Akron visits Tennessee State (Nov. 22) and Bellarmine (Nov. 24) before competing in a two-day tournament hosted by Colgate (Nov. 29-30).
Akron opens a month-long four-game homestand in December as the Zips host Slippery Rock (Dec. 4), Canisius (Dec. 7), Michigan (Dec. 20) and Miami Hamilton (Dec. 28).
Akron closes its non-conference schedule on Feb. 8, 2025, as the Zips face a road test at a yet to be determined opponent in the MAC-SBC Challenge.
Women's basketball season ticket plans are available for the upcoming season in the Floor VIP seating only for $100 per seat for every home game. A season parking pass is included with the purchase of the season ticket plan.
