Vora Leads Zips at Spring Break Shootout

Dade City, Fla. – Sophomore Hridhika Vora led the scoring for Akron at the Spring Break Shootout hosted by Western Kentucky at Lake Jovita Golf Club – South Course (Par 71 – 6,056 yards).
Vora posted rounds of 74 (+3), 75 (+4) and 76 (+5) for a 225 (+12), while senior Jessica Hahn followed in scoring for Akron with a 230 (+17) tally. Senior Abbi Fleiner and sophomore Avery Wright finished the 54-hole vent with 231 (+18) totals, and freshman Katrin Horn Danielsdottir rounded out the scoring with a 260 (+47) total.
Akron is scheduled to be back on the course in Pawleys Island, S.C. for the Golfweek/AGT event at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club on Monday-Wednesday, April 1-3.
