Akron Opens Spring Season

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron football program, under the leadership of third-year head coach Joe Moorhead, kicked off the first of 15 spring practices on Tuesday, March 19, at the Stile Athletics Field House.
The team will practice Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays throughout the spring. Practices are closed to the public.
The Zips' annual Spring Game is slated for Saturday, April 27, at 3 p.m.
Akron will kick off its 2024 campaign with a pair of road games against Big Ten opponents before its home opener versus Colgate on Sept. 14 at InfoCision Stadium. The Zips travel Columbus, Ohio for the season opener to battle Ohio State on Aug. 31 before heading to Piscataway, N.J. to play the Rutgers on Sept. 7.

Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
