AKRON, Ohio - The 10th-rated University of Akron rifle team welcomes John Jay College to the Robert A. Pinn Shooting Range for an 8:30 a.m. match on Saturday (Oct. 19).

Redshirt senior Gavin Perkowski (Bolivar, Ohio) leads the Zips this season after posting team-best averages of 1179.25 and 595.25, respectively, in the combined and air rifles, while redshirt senior Erin Schnupp (Gorham, Maine) owns a team-best average of 586.50 in the smallbore rifle.

Akron returns to competition traveling to Lexington, Ky., to battle North Georgia on Sunday (Oct. 27).
