SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – University of Akron redshirt sophomore Hunter Garretson (Newcomerstown, Ohio) is set to participate this weekend at the NACAC (North American, Central American, and Caribbean Athletics Association) U18-U23 Track and Field Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Garretson, the runner-up in the men's pole vault at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, is set to compete in the men's pole vault on Sunday (July 23) at 11 a.m. ET.
