Campbell and Cirone Earn All-MAC Accolades

CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Mid-American Conference unveiled its all-league selections, and two Zips made the list as freshmen Lexi Campbell (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Angela Cirone (Louisville, Ohio) garnered recognition.

Campbell garnered second-team All-MAC and named to the all-freshman team, while Cirone was selected to the All-MAC freshman team.

Campbell led the Zips' bats recording 47 hits averaging .313, while batting in a team-high 24 runs. She also led the team with 11 doubles, while also scoring 19 runs. In the field, the third baseman recorded 39 put outs and 72 assists holding a .949 fielding percentage.

Cirone averaged .247 recording 36 hits and registered a total of 11 RBI. Cirone hit a pair of triples and doubles. She ended the season recording 62 putouts and held a .984 fielding percentage.
