AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron Athletics has unveiled its official marketplace for Zips' student-athletes to maximize their name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities. The Opendorse-powered marketplace is a unique venue for fans and brands to engage and pay Akron student-athlete for NIL activities in one NCAA compliant platform, built specifically for student-athletes.
Each Akron student-athlete can create a profile on the marketplace to create and promote unique opportunities maximizing their personal social media accounts. Akron student-athlete have the power to review and agree to deals that take advantage of their name, image and likeness.
