2022 AKRON FOOTBALL NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron football program under the direction of first-year head coach Joe Moorhead will kick off a new era of Zips' Football welcoming Saint Francis (Pa.) to InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field for the 2022 season opener on Thursday, Sept. 1.
The Zips' schedule also includes non-conference road contests at Michigan State (Sept. 10), Tennessee (Sept. 17) and Liberty (Sept. 24) before Akron opens Mid-American Conference play.
MAC Eastern Division rivals Bowling Green and Miami as well as cross-divisional foes Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan will visit InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field this fall, while the Zips will travel to Buffalo, Kent State, Northern Illinois and Ohio. Dates for league games will be released at a later date.
Season tickets are available now by calling or texting the Akron ticket office at 888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting The C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
